Product Structure
White PVC layer: As the surface layer of the tape, white PVC (polyvinyl chloride) material boasts properties such as lightweight construction, wear resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, and moisture protection. Not only does it provide essential physical protection for the tape, but its sleek, white appearance also makes it ideal for use in scenarios where visual appeal is a key consideration. Additionally, PVC material exhibits excellent flexibility, allowing it to adhere smoothly to surfaces of objects with varying shapes.
Adhesive layer: Located beneath the white PVC layer, this is the critical component that enables the tape's adhesive functionality. The adhesive must exhibit strong tackiness to firmly bond the white PVC layer to the surface of the object being adhered, while also possessing adequate temperature and weather resistance—ensuring stable adhesion performance even under varying environmental conditions, such as temperature fluctuations and changes in humidity. Common types of adhesives include acrylic adhesives and rubber-based adhesives.
Non-stick paper layer: Covered on the adhesive surface, its primary function is to protect the tape's stickiness when the tape is not in use. During storage and transportation, the release liner prevents the adhesive from accidentally sticking to other objects. When it’s time to apply the tape, simply peel off the liner, and you can easily adhere the tape to the desired surface.Scope of Application
