Aluminum foil: As the outer layer of the adhesive tape, aluminum foil offers excellent moisture resistance, radiation shielding, and thermal insulation. Its lightweight, thin, and flexible nature effectively blocks external moisture and ultraviolet radiation while reflecting heat to prevent heat transfer to the bonded surface.
Adhesive: Located between the aluminum foil and the fiberglass fabric, its primary function is to firmly bond the two layers while providing initial tack during application, enabling the tape to adhere more effectively to a variety of surfaces.
Fiberglass cloth: Woven from glass fibers, it exhibits high strength, high modulus, excellent high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and superior dimensional stability. These properties enhance the tape’s mechanical performance, making it more resistant to tensile stress and tearing and less prone to deformation.
Self-adhesive: The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is the key component that enables the tape to adhere; it provides long-lasting tack, allowing the tape to securely bond to a wide range of surfaces, including metal, plastic, wood, and concrete.
Non-stick paper: It is applied over the adhesive surface to protect the tape’s stickiness when the tape is not in use, preventing accidental adhesion during storage and transportation. Simply peel off the release liner before application.

Scope of Application

Architecture and HVAC fields:
Pipeline insulation and sealing: commonly used for sealing and joining the insulation layers of air-conditioning ducts, heating pipelines, and similar applications. The thermal insulation properties of aluminum foil help minimize heat loss, while the fiberglass-reinforced structure prevents the tape from detaching under conditions such as pipeline vibration, thereby effectively enhancing the overall insulation performance.
Waterproofing and moisture-proofing treatment: Applied to roofs, exterior walls, basements, and other building components to seal cracks and openings, prevent the ingress of rainwater and moisture, protect the structural integrity of the building, and mitigate issues such as mold growth and corrosion caused by dampness.
Electronics and Electrical Engineering Field:
Cable protection: Wrapping wires and cables not only provides insulation but also offers moisture resistance and corrosion protection, safeguarding the cable jacket and extending the cable’s service life.
