Product Structure
Aluminum foil: As the surface layer of aluminum foil tape, aluminum foil offers excellent moisture resistance, radiation shielding, and thermal insulation. Its lightweight, thin profile, combined with moderate flexibility and strength, effectively blocks the transmission of water vapor, ultraviolet radiation, and heat, thereby protecting the bonded substrate from external environmental influences.
Three-way glass fiber mesh: Located beneath the aluminum foil, a triaxially oriented glass-fiber mesh reinforces the tape’s overall strength and tear resistance, making it less prone to stretching, deformation, or tearing during use and ensuring its durability and stability.
Adhesive: The adhesive serves to bond the individual layers of material and enable the tape to adhere to object surfaces. It firmly bonds the aluminum foil and glass-fiber mesh to the underlying layers while providing sufficient tack to ensure tight adhesion to a wide range of surfaces.
Kraft paper: The kraft paper layer enhances the tape’s flexibility and provides a certain degree of strength, while also offering cushioning and protection for the internal structure. Additionally, it helps prevent adhesive penetration, ensuring the tape functions properly under normal conditions.
