MG-FSK 1003A Reinforced Aluminum Film

Typically, all-wood-pulp kraft paper is used, which offers a certain degree of toughness and strength, helping to protect the internal structure and providing moderate abrasion resistance. The intermediate grid-reinforcement layer is usually a three-dimensional grid structure made of glass fiber or PP fiber.

    Material Composition

Typically, all-wood-pulp kraft paper is used, which offers a certain degree of toughness and strength to protect the internal structure and provide moderate wear resistance. The intermediate grid-reinforced layer—usually a three-dimensional mesh structure made of glass fiber or PP fiber—enhances the material’s tensile strength and tear resistance. The bottom aluminum film layer consists of aluminum foil or aluminized film; the aluminum foil layer generally ranges in thickness from 6 to 50 μm, while the aluminized film layer ranges from 8 to 100 μm, providing excellent vapor-barrier and thermal-reflection properties that effectively prevent moisture ingress and reduce heat transfer.

    Performance Features

    - Moisture and heat insulation: The aluminum film layer effectively blocks water vapor, while the combination of wood-pulp paper and aluminum film reflects thermal radiation, delivering outstanding thermal insulation performance and reflecting up to 95% of radiant heat.
    - High strength: The presence of the mesh reinforcement gives the material high mechanical strength, making it resistant to damage and capable of withstanding significant tensile and compressive loads.
    - Excellent flame retardancy: Some products undergo flame-retardant treatment, such as treating wood-pulp paper and composite adhesives, achieving a fire-resistance rating of B1 and thereby enhancing safety in use.
    - Excellent weather resistance: No adverse effects after salt spray, acid, and humidity tests; outstanding resistance to damp heat; maintains stable performance under various climatic conditions.

    Application Fields

    - Building thermal insulation: Applied as a secondary layer over thermal insulation materials such as glass wool and rock wool, it is used for thermal insulation of building walls and roofs, thereby enhancing the energy efficiency of buildings.
    - Pipe insulation: Suitable for thermal insulation and vapor barrier applications on HVAC ductwork, chilled and hot water pipes, and other pipelines, to prevent condensation and heat loss.
