- Exterior wall insulation : External wall external insulation (such as EPS/XPS board thin-coat plaster systems or rockwool board systems) and external wall internal insulation (such as EPS board adhesive applications) are key areas for building energy efficiency, helping to reduce heat transfer through walls.
- Roof insulation : Commonly used materials include XPS boards, polyurethane spray coatings, and perlite products, all of which should be combined with waterproofing designs to prevent rainwater from seeping in and compromising insulation performance.
- Ground insulation : XPS boards and EPS boards are commonly used as insulation layers in underfloor heating systems to prevent heat from transferring downward.
- Doors, windows, and curtain walls : Thermal insulation is achieved through broken-bridge aluminum profiles and hollow glass (filled with inert gas), minimizing heat transfer via gaps.
